How to work within the limits of Free FileMaker Hosting
If the service is free why is a credit card needed?
We use a credit card to verify identity and to make sure everyone signs up only once for a free account. This way there is more for everyone.
One Database is Free
One database is allowed to be open at a time. However multiple solutions can be uploaded to the server as long as only one is open. Over time we expect to find ways to be able to increase this number.
250MB of space?
The web ftp client we provide allows server side "zipping" of files so you can actually store more on the server. We want to host as many free accounts as possible and picked a number that we felt most developer solutions could fit within. Over time we expect to find ways to be able to increase this number.
